Owning your dream car...

Man, I just found a green 1993 VW Corrado VR6 for sale for about $12,500 on Vortex... stunningly beautiful... exterior wise practically stock. I was very very very very tempted... oooooh.

Unfortunately, reason has to win in this case because

• Insurance would be pricey.
• The car is one of those types that needs a LOT of TLC, and I might not have the time, skill, and/or money to do so.
• Well, I don't think it's a good idea to spend all the money I've saved so far on a 12 year-old car.

But DAMMIT! It's a Corrado!! Oh, I really should go out and buy a 6/49 ticket... just in case...

Until then, I'll just have to fantasize...

Ok... to rephrase... ahhh, the joys of getting new clothes... and a new (ok, new to ME) look. So far, not as traumatic as I had feared. It's been a long time coming. It should've happened sooner, however, there wasn't anyone to help me in the beginning. Now I know who to ask for advice. The problem is, I can't keep asking them forever... I need to chisel the "young professional" look into my thick skull and keep it there until I become the "not-so-young professional" and then the "OMG I'm so old! professional"... and so on. Yay... why hasn't my brain been designed for this? Oh well, I suppose it'll come eventually... but my wallet shall bleed quite profusely until then. Great.

No matter. Thanks to all of you who had contributed... except Wenky cuz she gave me tacky stuff to try on just to amuse herself... bum. =P

A New Journey Begins

What a weekend...

First off, congratulations to my best friend Mark and Priscilla on their marriage. Cheers to a bright and wonderful future together! They just got married on Saturday. What a wedding. It really felt surreal to be there and to have taken part. It was a fun night. I don't know what else to say. It just feels really cool and well... I just can't put my excitment in words.

The future looks bright once again. I feel determined once again. I know what to do for now. Some things will just have to wait.
